Detailed Murchison Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up, Zziwa Rhino tracking & transfer to Murchison Falls Park
In the early morning, our driver-guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Entebbe, brief you about 3 days tour and then road for Murchison Falls Park. Stop-over at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for rhino tracking and later proceed for a lunch break in Masindi. You will proceed to the park and drive to the top of the Murchison Falls for greater views. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari, Lodge/ Pakuba Safari Lodge/ Murchison River Lodge.
Day 2: Game viewing and launch cruise
Wake up early and transfer to the open plains of the park for game viewing. Game drives through the park offer you spectacular views of wildlife such as giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, Topis, Elands, Uganda kobs, waterbuck and warthogs grazing, browsing and hunting in the park. You will thereafter return to the lodge for a late breakfast, freshen up and wait for hot lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls where there is a permanent rainbow. Expect to see numerous birds and water animals on the banks of the Nile River and enjoy the cool breezes of the waters. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge
Day 3: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, check out and drive out of the park with a stop at Budongo Forest for a photo shoot. Drive to Kampala and then connect to Entebbe airport for your return flight.
