Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale Forest
Upon arrival, meet our driver guide and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. The distance from Kigali to Kibale is roughly 6 hours and 30 minutes drive while from Entebbe to Kibale, is roughly 5 hours and 30 minutes drive through the beautiful sceneries en route. Dinner and overnight at Primates Lodge/ Crystal Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation
Wake up early, have breakfast and with your packed lunch transfer to the Kanyanchu information center for the briefing. Here you will listen to the dos and don’ts while with the chimpanzees. Hike into the jungle and spend half day with chimpanzees taming them to get used to people. It’s a magical experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. ( Day 1)
Day 3: Bigodi wetland walk and departure
After early morning breakfast, go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland to see various animals and birds. Return to the lodge for early lunch and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
