Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge and meet with your driver guide for a transfer to Akagera National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive that takes you through the alluring numerous hills of Rwanda as you connect to the park. On arrival check in at your booked lodge and head out for a short game drive to explore the park and later get back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch transfer to Lake Ihema for the afternoon breath-taking boat cruise where you see thousands of Hippos, crocodiles as well as lots of colorful bird species. Return to the lodge for the overnight.

Day 2: Full days Game drive in Akagera Park & return to Kigali city
Wake up early for a cup of coffee, then drive to the plains of Akagera National Park where you get a chance to encounter the large herds of wildlife species like giraffes, antelopes, elephants and buffaloes among others. The recently re-introduced rhinos and lions are one of the most sought-after wildlife species in the park. You as well spot various bird species including the savannah birds’ species and water birds and many others.
After the wonderful game drive safari, enjoy your packed lunch and embark on the return journey to Kigali city. The driver drops you at your hotel or place of residence or Kigali airport to catch up with your scheduled flight back home.
